Summer Musical Camp

“Singing in the Savanna”  9am- 12 noon  Ages 5-9    $130 

Students will be introduced to the musical theater experience by learning about the process of putting a musical on stage. Topics include theater games, dancing, singing, and crafts, culminating with a song and dance performance on Friday 6/21 at 11:30 am.

“From Singing to Staging”  1pm- 3pm  Ages 10-13.   $115 

Students will take a closer look at what it takes to put a musical scene on stage. They will be working with members of the cast of The Lightning Thief while studying stagecraft. Topics include costumes, make-up, props, set design, lighting, singing, and movement, culminating with a performance of a musical scene on Friday 6/21 at 2:30 pm.

Vocal Studio Option  3pm- 4pm Ages 10-13    $50 

If you are in the “From Singing to Staging” camp, stay another hour if you wish to further develop your vocal talent. This option is for performers who wish to develop their solo and ensemble vocal skills within the realm of Musical Theater.
